Perhaps due to his Violin Concerto's lack of success at its premiere, Beethoven revised it in a version for solo piano and orchestra, which was later published as Opus 61a. Artur Balsam performs the piano version in this recording from the early 1950s.
Red vinyl is in near mint condition, almost like new; slipcase is in good condition, although there is a piece of masking tape affixed to the cover. This album is numbered 903 out of a limited pressing of 3,000 copies. Sleeve says "Made in England."
